At Fortum, you will be an important part of an experienced and competent team responsible for major investment projects and the development of our hydropower. We are about 60 project managers and technical experts in our team in Sweden and Finland. Now we need to strengthen our team with an employee who has knowledge in electrical power technology and experience in the connection procedure according to RfG.
In your work, you provide technical support in Fortum's investment projects and coordinate and develop our work on connection codes and support services. The projects mainly involve investments in existing hydropower plants, and if time permits, you are also given the opportunity to run your own projects. You will also contribute expertise to our technical competence networks within Fortum.
The position is located at one of our offices in Östersund, Sundsvall, Borlänge, Västerås, Stockholm or Karlstad.
What we are looking for
To succeed in the role, we believe that you, the applicant, have a university degree from an engineering education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
You have relevant experience as a project manager, technical specialist or designer, where experience in simulation and conformity testing is particularly meritorious. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate, you prioritize safety and have a high ambition to deliver results in your work. You also have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Travel in the job occurs and a driver's license is a requirement.
