Your assignment
As a system developer, you belong to the Technology department. The department's task is to provide FRA with the technical systems needed for the business. The department develops, acquires and deploys new systems and manages the operation and maintenance of existing systems.

The tasks involve you combining your technical knowledge with your analytical skills. Development is fast-paced and you will work in several different areas. Together with your colleagues, you will further develop technical methodology and tools to find new ways to develop the business. This is a prerequisite for taking on tomorrow's challenges.

This role is divided, meaning that you work approximately 50% as a scrum master and 50% as a system developer. As an SM, your task is to lead and develop the agile work. We work according to the SAFe model, so you will work closely with the Delivery Manager, and also regularly meet with other SMs to exchange experiences.
As a system developer, you will work with the latest technology. The team is cross-functional and you work about as much with frontend as backend, so for those who want to, there are good opportunities to broaden your skills. The team participates in all phases of the systems' life cycle; from requirements gathering, system design, operation, management and decommissioning. The work is done in close collaboration with clients and internal users in the cyber area.

We are looking for someone who has:
Post-secondary education in Systems Science, Civil Engineering/Engineering or other IT-oriented education such as a vocational college. Alternatively, you have gained equivalent knowledge through work experience
Worked as a developer in a development team for at least 5 years
Worked as a scrum master for a development team for at least 1 year
Worked with Jira, Confluence and GitHub as a scrum master/system developer
Experience with Python in Linux environments
Experience with object-oriented programming, e.g. Java
Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

We consider it an advantage if you have the following experience:
Courses, training or certifications in the IT field
Container-based software development
Worked in virtual environments
Worked with React, Typescript, CSS
Worked with ElasticSearch, Postgres, Grafana and Prometheus
B driving license

Technical tests will be applied during the recruitment process.

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes by bus from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA means placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a passed security clearance with a register check. The security clearance will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be deployed to war. We apply a six-month probationary period.
