Villa Djäknegatan is a newly opened retirement home with 80 places.

About the role

You are the spider in the web surrounding the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly carry out risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the activities.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you give each resident the best life possible. In this, you work closely with the residence's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in their daily work.

We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you to take is "Leading without being a manager".

Getting to know the residents

Understanding the residents' wishes and seeing small changes in their health and medical condition is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions.

Clear routines

To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-apply routines, control documents and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading.

As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital induction program together with your mentor to ensure that you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our routines.

About Villa Djäknegatan

The accommodation is located in the Kapellgärdet area, we have 60 places for people with dementia and 20 places for people with care needs.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a registered nurse and we would like you to have worked for a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-ill and this requires that you have both general knowledge of different diseases and conditions and an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
