Do you want to work in direct social work by supporting people with disabilities to develop? We are now looking for a coach and assistant coach for some of our units around Stockholm.

About the role
The work means that you support people with acquired brain damage, intellectual disability, autism, dementia and neuropsychiatric disabilities to develop. At Nytida, our daily activities have one main focus; the individual. The

fact that the activities are individually designed is paramount to everything else. We base our work on the person's needs, interests, motivation and, above all, resources. Therefore, the activities vary from person to person. A strong desire among most people is to establish or reconnect with working life. In order for the whole of life to be experienced as meaningful, something more is often needed. This can be about developing through physical activity, education, crafts, or just meeting others to socialize and talk about all that is life. Your tasks also include setting goals together with the client, planning and documenting based on the current implementation plan, and having contacts with case managers and networks.

Placement
Nytida has over 40 daily operations around Stockholm. As we are looking for coaches for more than one unit, we would like you to specify in your application where you would like to work geographically, and whether you have special experience or knowledge based on the above-mentioned target groups.

Your experience and knowledge
You have upper secondary education in healthcare, for example as a nurse. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have post-secondary education in social work such as a social worker, occupational therapist or similar, as well as experience of working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.

You have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people, are responsible and have personal maturity. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues and always have the best interests of our employees as the starting point in everything you do.

You have a unit manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the business. It could also be a future career opportunity for you.
